Find a steady pulse.
Begin with listening, counting and simple patterns before asking your hands to do everything at once.

MY RELATIONSHIP WITH MUSIC
Piano is a part of my life alongside science and languages.
I earned Trinity Grade 8 Piano Performance in 2022. Now I’m exploring how to share that experience with people who are beginning. My performance qualification is part of my playing background; my beginner piano course is still in development.
Visit my YouTube channelTHE PROPOSED APPROACH
For beginners who would value clear explanations, manageable practice and a structured starting point.
Begin with listening, counting and simple patterns before asking your hands to do everything at once.
Break a passage into short, manageable parts and bring the hands together gradually.
Connect notes and patterns with the sounds you hear, so practice has a musical purpose.
WHAT THE COURSE COULD BEGIN WITH
An early outline of the opening activities. The course content is still in development.
What music do you enjoy? What would you like to be able to play?
Recognise repeating patterns and try a short musical idea.
A small practice goal you understand and can return to.
